Go on now, be honest!!!!
Now, I'd like to say I chose something really cool but I think I should really curl up in a ball & die!

What can I say? I was very, very young!

Oh God, that is too bad!
I can even remember that I had to go to both WH Smiths & Boots because Boots was sold out!
I had been given a record token & was obviously (very) desperate to spend it!

In my record collection at the time (all acquired from elsewhwere) were, Puff the Magic Dragon, Two Little Boys , True Love & Pomp & Circumstance!
What an eclectic mix!

We only had classical records in the house before that, my parents wouldn't have "that nasty pop stuff" around. Then my Gran gave me a radio and my cousin showed me where Radio Luxembourg and Radio One were........slippery slope from that day forward

"Our House" by Madness.
I was a bit embarrassed about next year as I'd got into the Metal, so I gave it to amate.
I wish I still had it. But I'm still into the metal.
First album was "Queens Greatist hits".
