This ones a silver orb spider - no bites recorded;)

The other one looks like a jumping spider which apparently is a 'rare biter':)

Don't underestimate the ticks, they kill hundreds of dogs and cats every year - not a nice way to go either :(

I'm not sure that Noosa is the place for you if you find Perth boring. Noosa is a beautiful place to visit but not exactly lively - its well known for catering for the more 'elite';)
