I ask this, because recently there appears to be a lot of people wanting to move there...I find this bizarre, as I know a lot of "Nova Scotians", or as Newfies like to refer to them "Non Swimmers"...

At least you've decided to arrive without your pet...however it does concern me that the cost of shipping is the case, as I think that this may be the least of your expenses when you arrive here.

Sadly...He's not alone, alot of people arrive without anywhere to live, Hoping to bunk up in a hotel for a few nights, then look for somewhere. Often the places they find are not suitable or indeed...

When we came we didn't have to fumigate.....We wished though that we'd left them in the UK...because the Kids wanted double beds, and we wanted the biggest bed around..so we just bought new ones.

We are due to go to Montanna to pick up our first dog ( a little weimaraner puppy). An English couple we met in Fernie said that when they go across they have to get a Visa.

I went for a job once at CP Rail...before I saw the light...and it was $15 then for the day.....but if it's now $27...thank god I have free parking.

Don't forget I live in Gleneagles (The mobile community)...and I'm one of those pillocks that occasionally drive over the speed limit...but yes in the morning it's about fifteen minutes or so.

You may not always work down town....so if you want to escape the city IMO Cochrane is a nice place to live, and if you want a bit of space check out www.cochranelakes.com

We have season passes for Sunshine, and have done so since we arrived....we basically go every weekend, if we get bored of never any sunshine, we go a little further to kicking horse/Panorama...lake...

When we applied many moons ago...the wait was unbearable, I shudder to think how we would've coped if we'd been told the wait would now be five years.

Well the time frame sucks.....However if he managed to get a job, that would get him into the country, but he would still have to wait the same amount of time before he became a PR....is that correct...
