I think its long overdue.
It is unthinkable that a country like Spain has no safety net for unemployed and poor.

Spain fleeces the citizens with huge taxes.
Compare the quota for self employment...

I think it was a plan, hoping that brexit would force her to sell up and divide the money between them.

Bank wouldn't accept rent payments.

A neighbour had a rental contract for a number of years. That contract is out of date now.
about 18 months ago he went to pay his rent and the bank could not process the payment. No reason was...

Especially if one hasn't got the financial capacity to self-fund the move.
One thing is using your own money, as opposed to relying on the government maintaining the status quo as regards benefits....

It is a good practice to check clearscore, especially if you will be absent from your main home for long periods at a time, as are a lot of posters on here.
