Re: Is my residency certificate still valid?

Wow. That is fantastic to know. Basically it means once you have residency you cannot lose it as long as you visit a few times every 5 years. Great for things like tax.

Re: Is my residency certificate still valid?

I really don't think what you want will be decided by a funcionario as it is obvious that the starting point is that you have been absent 10 years. You are relying on legal arguments that are not...

Re: Is my residency certificate still valid?

TBH if you are not getting approved at the local Office de extranjería I wouldn 't hold out much hope. You have been absent 10 years and since then Brexit has also happened
Having a property means...

Re: High Interest Savings Account Opened in UK

Yes they can open UK bank accounts now but as soon as you move you need to notify them as it is a criminal act if you fail to do so- plus they will send you a FSC form to confirm your details. My son...

Re: High Interest Savings Account Opened in UK

If you want zero risk NS&I is best as it is UK government. Premium Bonds are 4.4% at moment and others around 3.6%
They are super easy to use as well.

Re: Valuation of UK property

It is for a divorce and we are Spanish residents. My wife gets the Spanish apartment and I get the UK property. However the UK property has a far greater value than Spanish one so I need to...

Re: High Interest Savings Account Opened in UK

NS&I allows non residents accounts but UK based banks won't so you will have to use the off-shore ones. People used to maintain there UK savings accounts by not notifying the bank of their address...

Re: TIE - Passport Checks

Well isn't this the problem - if there is no specific regulations that says TIE holders can use EU channels then that means you can't and have to use the one everyone else uses. So unless someone can...

Re: TIE - Passport Checks

I never said I was upset.I am simply not in agreement that having a TIE card with the WA clause on it allows you access to the EU channel. I am sure that if it were the law it would have been pointed...
