Good Morning,
me and my family want to move to Spain from Uk on a self employed visa, we have a business plan ready to submit. Can anyone recommend a lawyer to help with the submission and anything additional to consider too like insurances or health care
many thanks

For anyone to recommend a lawyer, we need to know where you intend living in Spain.......
Everything is explained in detail for a self employment visa in the link below:

Abaco in Torrevieja are perhaps the largest law firm in the area that caters for foreigners especially Scandanavians and Brits. I have used them a number of times and they are extremely professional. They actually have proper bilingual staff- not ( as if often the case) people who speak English but not as accurately as is required for difficult legal issues which leads to misunderstandings.

With regards to the business plan the key part of this that will be looked at in detail is the financial aspect and whether you have the resources to support you and your family while the business is setup and growing.
A sIightly different scenario but I have a close friend, who was retired on a NLV, got bored and wanted to start a business so had to convert his visa in country. They went through the business plan in great detail in particular the finances during the ramp up. They seem very wise to people pitching a business plan just get a visa (Im not suggesting thats what you are doing but worth keeping in mind) .

Im pretty sure that as you are based in the UK you will need to make the application through the Spanish Consulate in the UK (London or Manchester), so you might find a UK based dual language lawyer a better option. My understanding is that the only way you can apply for a particular type of visa from within Spain is if you already hold a different type of residency and are switching the type. You cant apply for a visa if you are there as a tourist.
