My Parents had applied for the CPV 143 Visa in Jan 2007 and are still waiting. :(
The 2nd VAC was paid in April 2008, but as they had run out of VISAs for 2007 we have been queued into 2008. ...

I assume there are 2 reasons behind this
1. Our PCC's are dated 27th Feb 2005.
2. My wife was asked to submit the Health Undertaking Form (Form 815). Many posts on this forum...

What's the first step towards this? Do they train you in the lab or do we have to take up courses (diplomas) for this. What I'm trying to know...

Of all, this wait is the Killer. Everything is set, just the Grant letter. OMG, why does it have to be so awful.

2 weeks have passed since Centerlink sent out the letter to our Assuror and DIMIA...

I guess each Centerlink have their own protocol on this. Our Assurer had her interview on the 16th of August and were asked to Lodge their Bond the same day.

If you have a look at the timelines of us 139ers , most of us would have touched the 12 week mark before we hear about our meds or PCC.

Another "12th Week-er" here. Submitted our App 22nd Fed. No signs of movement from DIMIA. Hope we all get our Med and PCC requests by End of the 13th Week.

If you have not considered Visa Sub Class 139, then may be you should. You don't require points but just need a relative in a Designated area to sponsor you and also need to satisfy the basic...

Did you consider VETASSESS , they must assess professions that may fit your profile. As you have opted for the 139 Visa, a 40 or 50 Point Profession should suffice the basic requirement.
