Congrats! I wish I could also get it sooner! But my CO is on leave until Oct. 3! Do I still need to wait until that date? My meds are about to expire in Nov. 2005! IM a Prejuly 04 applicant.

First of all CONGRATS for getting your VISA.
I was just wondering though.
You say you have to be in Aus by the 6th of Jan 2006

But you submitted your medicals & PCC on 06/27/05 isn't it?

So isn't it, that you have to be in Aus by the 27th of June 2006 and
not 6th of Jan 2006 i.e. about 1 year after med or PCC whichever expires first.

I assume there are 2 reasons behind this
1. Our PCC's are dated 27th Feb 2005.
2. My wife was asked to submit the Health Undertaking Form (Form 815). Many posts on this forum indicate that if an applicant submits Form 815 then he is asked to be in Aus earlier than the normal period.
Hope I answered your questions.
