Re: Prescriptions for expat pensioners

Sorry I don't know either. My guess would be that they would have a medicare card and be entitled to a concession on their meds as long as they were on the PBS list. I think in the UK though...

Re: Any 'left of centre' poms want to meet up on the Gold Coast?

My take on politics is that all politicians are liars, and I don't trust any of them. I used to like John Peel though, and Tottenham Hotspur :D

Re: Floods - and insurance

Maybe it was AAMI I got a quote from too. They were upfront that it had to be water falling on the roof to be covered, rising water wasn't. Picking insurance can be confusing. We have our car...

Re: Wow - Goodbye F111's

Tim said he heard them over our house, 2 mins before the end of the show. I am not sure if that is that because they might land at Amberley though. I missed the whole thing, so am a bit gutted. I...

Re: Moving to Brisbane

We are in Ipswich. We bought out here as the prices are more reasonable than Brisbane. The rent is much cheaper too. Redbank is one of the closer suburbs in Ippy to Brisbane, and has a good shopping...

Re: Anyone fancy a bbq southside?

I don't know where bouts you are on the southside, we are at Ipswich, which might not be that far, depending on where you are. Queens park in Ipswich is fab for a BBQ. There is a big playground for...

Re: Other people's children..... and alocohol
