I have a holiday place in Florida. We go 3/4 times per year. I love it but wouldn't want to live there full time (wouldn't get a visa anyway) so travel on Esta.

My iPhone 5s unlocked works fine. I use a uk 3 card payg £25 all you can eat data and although the 3G coverage is a little sketchy, it works well enough. I bought an AT&T card to pop in it to use...
