i think you have to have been on the temporary spouse visa for at least two years before they can grant permanent residency, prehaps someone else will be able to clarify for sure though...

You'll be suprised how quick it goes! The letter will tell you to put things aside frrom now on, so that when the time comes you have all the evidence you need. :)

no, you applied for the permanent visa in the same application for the temporary one you just got. so no more fees to pay! in two years you will have to send them evidence that your relationship is...
