That's why I asked its a "Catch 22"... Is the S1 only issued if you can prove you are a resident in Spain?
If/when I receive the S1 what would happen if after a year or two I would return to UK?...

I will be over 66 when I arrive can I apply for a S1 when I arrive?
If yes, can I use that to prove full "medical cover" when I apply for residencia?...

Very interesting reading, At the moment I am trying my best to learn abput "Temporary Annuitys" & "Spanish Compliant Bonds" they are both supposed to better for TAX purposes. Very difficult to find...

Yes I will have full UK Gov Pension plus Private pension.
No pension from Spain.
My partner Macy has never worked in...

Hi all,
We have been told we still have to apply for a one year Health insurance, non co-payment contract when applying for residencia!
Is this true?

Yes next year we will move there but first we hope to do 3 months early 2022 then either rent or buy July/August. I will be 66yrs old by then with a generous...
