The UK Gov website says that there is a special form required for those non-residents that wish to claim the UK...

How odd. I've been in and out of Penang airport for years, flying domestic, regional and international and I've never had to open my case on arrival in Penang, only push it through the XRay machine...

Unfortunately there is a big difference between getting an "Appendix A" conversion and an "Appendix B" conversion. As far as I am aware the "Appendix B" conversion can only be done at Butterworth.

My apartment is regularly left unoccupied for 8-months of the year and returning is always musty smelling, but after opening up all of the windows for the day and flushing the lavatories it clears.
