Yes I agree, I moved here in 1981 but it's time they moved with the times but unfortunately it seems like 2 weeks is acceptable to most Canadians as the norm.

I mentioned to my employer that I need 3 weeks unpaid leave next year and they basically told me they would have to let me go if I did as it wouldn't be fair on everyone else, I'm also used to 5...

I went to cross the boarder on my pr a couple of weeks ago and was told I needed an Esta but in the meanwhile they give me a 90 day visa in my passport for $6 (its all about the money) lol

I agree with everything you have said, we live just outside of Toronto and I don't find it anymore expensive than the u.k.
I enjoy the 4 seasons and the outdoor lifestyle, it would cost a fortune...

I didn't think you had to apply for citizenship, my daughters children wasn't born in Canada but all she had to do was send off for there Canadian passports.

My son in law went back to England last week, you can book an appointment 3 weeks in advance to purchase a new one in 4 hours which he did. I'm no expert but I would say the problem wouldn't be going...

Yes I am aware of that but more times than not, the flights are cheaper on the Canadian affair website rather than Air Transit
