Firstly, if you think this is better off in the returning to the UK section, mods, then please move it. :)

I urgently need to move a low volume (but high weight) set of personal effects/goods back...

I can't really make clear sense of the rules regarding voting. I know it's supposed to be compulsory but why then can you take yourself off the electoral roll?

Ah, see, over 2 million then. So it's hardly a backwater. That's arguably bigger than any city in the UK bar London (depending upon what surrounding suburbs you include).
