So just a quick update, WE PASSED! We applied for Citizenship in August 2010, received our book in Nov/Dec 2010.

Took the test on August 26th 2011, it was a lot harder than we were expecting &...

There were only 6 of us in the room that spoke English or French as a first language, there were tons of other nationalities there. My friends daughter sat the test recently & was asked ridiculously...

We got our test date almost a year to the date of our application being sent. On the test date we were told that we would be invited to a ceremony (if we passed the test) within 1 - 3 months.

Thanks:o I can't find any Citizenship ceremonies scheduled past August 19th in Calgary so not sure when the ceremony will be but really excited to have reached this point. I don't normally freak out...

I just checked Ecas & it says 'your application was received August 2010, we started processing your application on July 12th 2011' - I guess we should be getting a test date soon :)
