I am very lucky as our really old house...built in 1910..so really old by NZ standards..:D..is not damp at all....we have an HRV and its worked wonders..no damp in my house...I feel so...

We are in the middle of the South Island...Ashburton...Mid Canterbury....lovely weather here...close to the mountains (Mt Hutt Ski fields Methven) & the beach...but not suitable for swimming....
