Sorry for jumping in on your post. But I am a Canadian/UK citizen with a flight booked to Edmonton on May 2nd. Does anyone have any knowledge on how to get entry level jobs on the rigs?

Car Costs

Hi,

Can anybody please tell me the cost of running a 2nd hand car in Alberta.

Obviously the price and gas aside, just the mandatory yearly fees.

Registration costs? Can insurance be paid...

Moving to Edmonton. When you say of some sort, as a landlord, what would be your minimum requirement? I have a decent wedge of cash to move with. Just paper work seems to be the problem

I have a job lined up so hopefully an employers reference may suffice. I just want to get into some fixed accomodation asap so I dont waste money on hotels. I didnt known about the 1st & 15th date...
