Re: Stay in UK or Go back to Walnut?

I think OP is asking here as BE is a kind of "safe space" many of us have had similar doubts and decisions to make, though possibly not more than once, and we are not emotionally involved one way or...

Re: Help with home sickness

Arriving as a trailing spouse can be hard, I've been there. Do you have any hobbies that can be done in a group? Even before I move to the US I was a quilter and joined the local quilting group...

Re: Moving to America and very worried.

I think my two twenty-something year old sons born in the UK who moved over here in 2014 as teenagers would be gobsmacked (or pissing themselves laughing) to read what you believe life is like over...

Re: New adventures

As I set out to do stuff this morning after being out of state for the first snow I remembered to dig out my Yaktrax. Don't need them yet, but have found them very useful when it gets icy and try to...

Re: Moving to America and very worried.

We have been over here in Pennsylvania for 8 years now and have not experienced any anti English sentiment. Yes there are differences of opinion on things, but not much more so than between different...

Re: Tropical Storm/Hurricane Ian and Florida

Glad you stayed safe and sound and that your home had no damage! What a time for your truck to play silly bastards on you, but at least you and it stayed dry and it got fixed.

Re: Electricals - to ship or not to ship

The answer to that is very unlikely for broadcast over the air, but if it is a smart TV you may be able to use the apps once you have an internet connection. Also the set top box from a cable or...

Re: Electricals - to ship or not to ship

Re: Electricals - to ship or not to ship

Re: Hello You Lot!!
