Re: Gay man considering Aramco

Is "Aramco" a euphemism?

Re: Lending money?

Well, OK, close family is a little different. My mother and my two kids I wouldn't really expect to see repaid (although I know my mum would want to and the kids would make a half hearted effort. For...

Re: Lending money?

Glad you've resolved this, hopefully it'll work out well for both parties :)

We once lent a very good friend around £3.5K, knowing that he was desperate for it and would pay it back. He took on...

I'm earning SAR5,000,000 pa, so it sounds a lot for a single bloke's accomm, but I do like my little luxuries :p

Re: Re-registering mobile phones?

Is this happening ME wide? We're having problems in KSA with sims not registered to Iqama numbers, etc. Mine is (not my Iqama), so I can top up, but I'm still being told I'll be expiring in a couple...

Re: What percentage of your salary do you spend on rent?

Tá a fhios agam.

Re: February Beers?

I'll probably be visiting sometime soon. If it coincides with your get-together it would be good to see if there are real people on then end of those user names.

And beers would be good, too. I'm...

Re: Words fail me

Wow. That's hard to think about.

Not to condone this - no one from most societies in the world could - but to play devil's advocate: Wipe this out and you have 10 million more people per year to...

Re: Bahrain - where to stay?

Don't get me wrong - I'm sure there are some nice Septics out there and that, one day, I'll meet one of them. But the US Mil out on the lash?

Oh well, committed now, so I'll take it...
