I would second Banco Sabadell. Have used them for 12 years and have always had good service and communication. All of their staff that I have dealt with speak English.

Am I missing something here? I thought this thread was about the toll on the A22 yet the last four posts are taking us on a tour of Scotland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

According to a post on Facebook this morning, the Portuguese government have decided to scrap the toll, but I can't find confirmation anywhere else.

Don't know whether you've booked your car yet. We have been using Drive4Fun via Economy Car Hire for over 5 years. Cars in good condition. Transponder fitted for A22. Have always been very satisfied.

Before you bring the car to Spain, get a garage to look at the UK vehicle registration book to ensure all the info required for a Spanish "MOT" is on it. My wife drove her P reg Rover down to CE...
