Re: NZ Universities

Otago has a very good reputation for anything medical. They are redeveloping the campus with swish new facilities in Christchurch.

Re: Homesick, but not sure what for

I think sometimes life just feels a bit meh. Just a bit dull and wondering what's next, like you need to break the status quo. Could be mixed in with home sickness or just wanting something different...

Re: Coronavirus

That's flawed logic though. In order to build immunity you need anti bodies right? Would you rather have anti bodies from getting the virus and becoming sick (or worse) or having an injection that...

Re: Nurse moving with children

Hello Callie, I hope the move goes well 🙂

To be honest you'll get the same problem any where you ask, the forums are no different. It'll be 6 of one, half a dozen of the other saying it's...

Re: Coronavirus

Great thank you for asking. Today I am tramping and then out for dinner with friends. Doing normal life activities with no fear nor worries about the virus. I'm not sure what or where la la land is....

Re: Coronavirus

I have vaccine proof with one click of a button stored on the front page of my phone. It's not in app form yet (coming soon), only on the website. You can all get it too:

Re: Coronavirus

That's 80% single doses though, only 60% of the UK population are fully vaccinated with both jabs. Not enough lift all restrictions and go back to normal. But as I said good luck with that strategy,...

Re: Coronavirus

I am getting the impression that there's a false sense of security in the UK. Not enough people are double vaccinated yet to stave off the delta variant (plus other variants). With other variants...

Re: Coronavirus

Of course we will open up again and not be in constant lock downs. The biggest difference is the UK are 80% fully vaccinated, NZ is 20%. Yes NZ have been slow to vaccinate but that is set to change...

Are you both forgetting what's happened in the UK over the last 18 months? So many people dead and sick, health services overwhelmed, lock down after lock down. NZ has had none of that, we've had a...

Thank you kindly for clarifying what a rumour is. My point remains the same - at what point has anyone ever said that NZ are going for 100% vaccination? I mean a reliable source, not your your...

Re: G'won . The $ price of one tomato and maybe -ssshhh ..the price of a cucumbe

Simple solution - don't buy salad items in winter, stick to root and frozen veggies. People choose KFC and the like because they are a) lazy b) not capable of cooking healthy meals c) making up...

I am perfectly happy with how the government have handled the vaccine roll out. We have never had bad outbreaks of covid in the community, it hasn't claimed many lives, hasn't overwhelmed our health...
