Enjoyed my recent trip to Bali - went to Ulawattu - Nusa Dua ( a friend has a massive and plush spa treatment - had a full treatment on the house..:) ) Kuta ( too much hassle with persistent sellers...

I am avid collector of classic Bollywood music - have a huge collection from the 1930's to 1980's - don't much care any of the new movie soundtracks! :)

So many correct observations and experiences here - I think the phrase "buyer beware" is applicable at all times when dealing with any woman anywhere in the world! More so in Pattaya!! :thumbup:

I love Phi Phi - my fav place is with the guy who owns the cafe on Viewpoint - have a coffee and chat with him and watch one of the most beautiful real life views in the world!

Looking to move to a quieter part of the world from UK - what appeals to me is the Hindu and Buddhist Culture and - same as my background - can anyone suggest any personal experiences?

If you do go to Phuket arrange to go to Koh Phi Phi - this is a two hour boat ride from Phuket pier - when in Phi Phi do the islands tour to include Maya Bay ( where the move "The Beach" featuring...

Meeting Thai ladies in bar is only good for one thing! Horizontal aerobics!! I would look for a "normal" Thai Ting Tong who goes to work and supports herself and her family...:)
