just to clarify theres no TV license in Canada, with an Ant. you can pick up about 20 channels Free to Air - not very good ones mind but free nonetheless ....

You'll usually find the cheap Chinese brands play pretty much everything - however spend an extra $20 or so an get one that plays Divx ..you'll be glad that u did

i think your wrong it says relative to size we take 2x as many immigrants, the US therefore takes 5x more (in absolute terms ) then Canada does. We are not only aging but very sparsely populated

Yes it works and yes you have to maintain a good share ratio (i think its 90%) ...though could be wrong on that part.


If you're concerned about the legalities I would suggest you don't use it....

Any of the trades there is usually plenty of work about however you will have to be certified in the Province in which you intend to work. Hamilton is a bit of a depressing looking place to be honest...

for a big City , Toronto is very safe , theres not much knife crime , though there is gun play - theres approx 60 murders per year in Toronto a city of just over $2m.

Theres a lot of nightlife,...

I have a Garmin , wife has a tom tom, user interface in Garmin is much better in my opinion. Been a God send. Used is States recently was very good. They are not fool proof but will get you to where...

yep got it done - very good - took about 2.5 hrs - teeth are very white - I even had comments about it after - cost is around $800 (zoom system), but since the OT is a dentist it was a freebie :-)

U can only deduct it if you are running a home based business / or use part of your home to generate an income and then you are only allowed the deduction based on the proportion of the home...

in ontario there is a health premium...below a certain income you pay 0 I think, top premium is $600

if you are on low income you can apply for trillium prescription plan that covers...

discount on selling depends on price of property and past business/relationship from the client I normally charge 0.5 -1.5% ( the "norm" is 2.5% ....+ you have to add 2.5% for buying agent)

i think one of the issues for Google to consider before they do the same thing in Canada or the US is that they do get a lot of advertising dollars from Realtors and pissing off or putting realtors...

Depends on additional coverage you get elsewhere from a spouse or partner - if you are like me and use benefits to the max - dental , eye glasses and massage theraphy i normally get the best coverage...
