We have K&H current and deposit accounts which work well. They have English speakers both in our branch in Pécs and in their online support. We do not bother with paper statements as the online...

Ginger, garlic and chillies are very easily grown in Hungary.
But also all are readily available in both the supermarkets and general markets, at least here in Pécs.

It is a difficult area this but why would you any more buy from an agent after the briefest of visits in Hungary than do the same in an area of the UK you have never been to before?

Mumbai for a couple of days then train to Goa for the beach.
Karnataka for culture Hampi particularly.
Train to Cochin. Beach, city and backwaters.
Then back to the cold!

The name Taj Mahal gives it away....you could be in the UK.
We find the 'authentic' Indian restaurants in Pest are up their own bottoms.
We will have the real thing in India in January!

We are back to the UK soon for a visit and an 'indian' will be on the list but we also find the Taj Mahal Szondi u. 40 in Pest pretty good and staffed by Indians.

We take visitors there for amazement and we buy plants in different seasons.
I am not sure that I know the difference between retro and junk but there are certainly acres of collectables!

The car boot market in Pecs on every Sunday seems to sell everything both old and new and well worth a trip if you are anywhere near.

We had the same this year having had none last. I asked a neighbouring farmer who said that you can spray but unless you are very careful about getting under the leaves it is more efficient to pick...

That is a good suggestion.
Tons of variety because excellent access by train and car to Austria, Germany and of course back to the UK as well as Slovakia.

Pecs has quite an economic catchment area particularly as it is getting back its pre-Trianon Croatian trade with EC linkage, so shops galore!
I do not know the quality of schooling as ours is past...

My wife and I live in a village near Pecs in the Mecsek hills.
Pecs is a beautiful historic city with a large university and medical community so international...
