I'm using a dongle with a "3' sim which you can get a recharge voucher for pretty much anywhere. 15 quid gives you 3g of data.

Then I use skype thru the laptop and can keep in touch with overseas...

Initially I went directly to the insurance companies and got quotes between 1400 and 9500 pounds for the same car.

I then contacted an insurance broker and with proof of prior insurance/no claims...

Wound up with 4 tea chest size cardboard boxes and two guitars......

They picked up from my house and I pick up from there depot...

Use a removalist, he hires a full container (FCL) then consolidates a number of people into the one container (LCL).

6 weeks on the water plus a further 3 weeks...
