Personally I think that if I am paying for the rent, the landlord should not have the right to get in the apartment unless there is an emergency. If he/she wants to show...

What I meant is that if the property management gives me proper notice and let me be there while showing the apartment, I clean it up everything and...

Here in Alberta it's the same, but I do not think that sticking a note on your door and then not being available for the whole day could be considered as a 24h. notice.

Another difference I find (I am not british, but I lived in Uk and Ireland), is ...maybe some people don't agree...
