Say I'm a "user" who takes sickies as they come along and only have 2 sick days left in the year - but bugger I have a major stomach bug...

My husband takes his sick whether he is sick or not. His salary is calculated in such a way that he actually pays for his sick days so...

Horses for courses.....On coming back to the UK, if you took my salary on leaving Oz and convert to GBP it is near half what I am paid now and I didn't earn peanuts in Oz neither. I worked outside...

All his brothers and sisters are in the UK
All his friends from his youth are in the UK

This is based on experience of three Oz schools, one of which was private
and two UK schools both state.

Now, education in the UK is TOTALLY different...

I lived and worked in the Illawarrra...went online to buy a fax machine.
