Had flights priced at £400 per person with the baby free, that's a pretty good deal for return flights to Calgary.

Ok thanks mate, Jan/Feb maybe the only time we can make it without leaving it until late 2013 anyway, which I dont want to do.

So me and my partner are planning to make a trip to Canada to have a look around and get a feel for the place and also for me to hopefully sit an exam. Problem being we have a wedding to attend next...

I'm an electrician and I would have to fly to Canada to sit the exam. You have to apply first and send your qualifications off then once the letter is back you have one year to sit the exam.

Being an electrician, I cant see you passing the electrics side of things (not sure on plumbing) with an NVQ level 2.

In the UK, I had to get my NVQ level 3 before being classed as an Electrician,...

So on this calculation, are you saying for example if I was to earn 60k divide it by 2.2 and that gives you a rough idea as to how much you will earn in british £.

I see when the move is made, short term accomadation is obviously recommended for about a month to find exactly where you would like to live, but after that do people tend to rent...
