Expo's & Seminars
Simple question really, thinking of going upto London to check one out, if anybody has been, are they worth going up for?

We've been to 2 or 3 and they were pretty much all a waste of time / money. The only jobs for which they were recruiting were the usual suspects (nurses, miners, software engineers, etc.), and unless you desperately need to speak to someone about shipping your pet or acquire transportation costs for your stuff, I would save your money and stay at home.
That said, the ones we went to were all by the same people / group, so we're giving it one last chance and attending our last show in Birmingham on 30 September (Down Under Live) as it's one we haven't tried before.
Of course, some people may have had wonderful experiences (presumably anyone in the healthcare or mining industry!) so don't take my word for it - it's horses for courses :-)

I've had lot of help off this forum Steve, I was just going as they say there are employers from Aus there so I thought it may be good to have a chat with them and see what they have to say.

from past experiences i would say job wise expos ain`t worth the entrance fee
