www.jobbank.gc.ca and also www.infomine.com
I had a few employers get back to me, I had a huge amount who didn't even reply, I narrowed my options to 3 companies in Edmonton and Calgary, then decided the Calgary job was best to suit me and my family. I then had my skype interview the company was happy I forwarded all my certificates and work related info, signed the contract and now I'm waiting for their lawyers to write my twp and have airline e tickets.

Sure, I'm a welder I obviously searched on this website got some info from some very kind people, applied to AIT (Alberta Industry Training) type in google Alberta trade secrets . Sent of my my foreign worker qualification application, to prove I have been a welder for more than 54 months, I then converted my CV into a Canadian style Resume and applied for lots and lots of jobs on www.indeed.ca

Hope all goes well, let me know how Calgary works out. I am considering Calgary, Edmonton or GTA.

That is awesome mate.
I have wrote to AIT but I have yet to receive a reply, did you write to them first or just send your Qualification off?

It is IMO a long process for what it is, but its something that has to be done.
If you get talking with a future employer chances are they will have a contact at AIT to speed your application up.
Dont forget ( like I did ) to photocopy your passport as they must have your passport picture and signature.
Good luck

then look for the Qualification application pack ( or click here http://tradesecrets.alberta.ca/sourc...L_WORK_EXP.PDF )
Download the pack fill it in, you will then need someone preferably in management to be contacted by AIT to confirm the information you have given to be true. You must also pay $450 CAD which is non refundable, then you need some patience while they process your application. If you are successful you will get a letter ( you must have the original letter when you land in Canada) this letter is valid for 1 year for you to make your move to Canada and if your trade requires to sit the exam.
Good Luck

I'm an electrician and I would have to fly to Canada to sit the exam. You have to apply first and send your qualifications off then once the letter is back you have one year to sit the exam.
