Re: Any real stuff you've missed?

All my good friends weddings over the last 16 years. Just wasn't in a position to fly over at the time (money and time off). A few funerals too.

No getting any of that back.

Re: Brits in the U.S - Which political party do you lean towards?

With which one being which?? :p

Being a moderate fence sitter is hard here. Both major parties are replete with clowns, which is the same as some other countries I would imagine.

Re: Are You Happy You Made The Move To California?

He doesn't keep you locked in the closet as well does he?

You should be fine, just keep the card or a copy (or on your cell) in the car.

Re: An American view.

On the plus side there is the Metro Center. And just down the road, beautiful North Yorkshire.

I spent years living in the southwest and the only part I didn't care for much was Plymouth on Friday...

Re: What was your UK university experience like?

It depends on what you study I would imagine. There seem to be a fair amount of "underwater basket weaving" type majors out there. But if you are goal oriented, try not to change your major too...

Your electric bill will no doubt be as bad as mine, but only 103 ish here.

Are you up around Ventura and Oxnard then? my missus is from Camarillo. Lovely area up there, except for the Nard.

Re: Political messages on facebook..
