Got home today after shopping and found a special delivery card from the Post Office-passprts are back!

We got back after the Post Office closed so will have to collect on Monday morning.

We sent valuation letter from estate agent and letter from bank with balance of the mortgage but we applied under the old system (pre 2008). Check the wording if you have to show proof of funds as...

How bizarre! Justie had her medicals on the same day and you are sending your passports too. We have applied using FSW so passport request was a great surprise this week.

Passport request received in the post today, just got back from work to find the letter in the hall! So house under offer:fingerscrossed: it is stress free.

I think they must have about three staff and they all have a two week break one after the other. So 6 weeks of summer it all slows down or stops because the other spend their time talking about...

I think it was the Easter holidays just before Good Friday and then we couldn't arrange a medical until 17th May because of bank holidays and appt. times available.

I think it's 60 days from the receipt of the letter. This is on the small print on the back of the letter and if you can't arrange it in this time you have to inform them.

we had our medicals today and it was Ok so hopefully we will hear something in the next couple of months. we have sent our RoPR fee as well.:thumbsup:

When filling out any forms for immigration (which does take hours), complete them, then look over them the next day thoroughly before sending them.

Just a quick note about meds. had a PM about clinic in Liverpool being £300 more expensive then Manchester clinics but as it turned out the Liverpool clinic didn't answer the phone:huh:

After receiving our request for medicals I have tried to contact the surgery in Liverpool and the person who organises it is not in till today.

Don't know yet-we think Liverpool or Manchester, whoever can do it quicker!
Can't ring till tomorrow because letter only arrived Saturday and we lost today because of the bank holiday.

Just had our request for meds. in the post this morning. We sent our documents back on the 3rd February so a two month wait between docs and request for meds. Still seems like a long process.

Sent Feb 2010.
Waiting for Meds request.

Hoping to move to Nova Scotia or...
