believe me or not...getting restless wont solve the issue...people here including myself,are not working for DIAC so everyone is speaking out of his own past experience...you can not judge how things...

Don`t worry...it has happened before...I remember it happened with a Pakistani applicant "Arcturus".His CO asked for various updates relating to Form 80 multiple times with 4-5 months break each...

In my case,I was also asked for similar sort of gap filling just after 1 month of CO allocation...it took them 12 months further to get over security checks...:(

dude my plans are not based on any comparison and research on living etc...actually my elder bro is in perth so initial plans are to go to him...Don`t know where would job hunt/further study plan...

1- Is your bro is 175 visa holder/PR status or citizen ? and who is eligible to sponsor PR holder or citizen ?
My bro is PR holder[175 independent] and he sponsored right after validating his PR...

I was sponsored by my elder brother and had to furnish family tree diagram and relation to sponsor proofs...my brother filled in and sent sponsorship form...thats all :)

letter says

The initial entry date cannot be extended and a visa may be cancelled if a visa holder does not enter Australia by that date.

this date is based on expiry of PCC and medicals
