Dear friends,

Just want to let you know I got my pre-grant letter Alhamdolilah. I am leaving for Kuala Lumpur on 2nd of May as I am onshore right now and they have asked me to leave Australia ( I was here on my student visa and just finished my MS degree), thanks everyone for your support and best wishes. I will update you guys once I get my PR stamped on my passport.

Edited title. Whilst BE is more than happy to have all the users we do from all over the world, from previous experience, thanking anyone other than DIAC in the title causes all manner of aggro and life is way too short.

I just want to clarify that Alhamdolilah is an Arabic word means Thanks God. Is something wrong with this gesture ? if yes then please remove all Thanks God post from your forum

Did you even read my post? It's nothing to do with Allah or Muslims. I very specifically said ANY god because of what has happened frequently in the past. I did it for the express reason of not having a long drawn out argument about religion which is what normally happens but no, you just can't accept it, let's turn it into a racist slur against muslims! For crying out loud. As I said, just congratulate the OP on a job well done? :curse:

Hi,

I do not know why these muslims do not understand that this is "Britishexpats" forum and they should understand this forum is/was meant only for british people, majority of them are non muslims, planning to or living abroad.

All muslims, specially muslims living in the countries other than the Britian, should not try to show what their believes are, who they obey and what their religious background is. I would suggest to just keep this things with yourselves and only discuss matters related to immigration and do thank Allah but do not write here.

I hope this will not raise any eye brows.
