yes you can, if you look through the iec 2013 thread, a few people have already traveled with their children, of course if they are older they need study permits which can be got from the embassy...

i thought so, he is 6 in the first few days of october, in the uk he is supposed to be going to year 1, how strict are they with age when starting the school year?

i think the way it works is the passenger air duty, if flight is from uk to uk you get charged a certain amount, if it starts or ends in europe you get charged more, usa even more, africa/middle east...

i believe it is always more piece of mind to bring it over in a container, i moved things from the uk to egypt a few times, and took advice of friends, and bought extra items that i threw in to fill...

most equipment that runs 50hz, sometimes allows 60hz, there is normally a range which it can work on, like mobile chargers/laptop chargers do 110-240v and...

i would agree with jimmydean, had a few travel agents book me tickets like this before, it works out cheaper, i guess it has to do with the passenger duty for the airport your flying from and to.

i had something like that that i hard wired from the fuse box to specific sockets in certain rooms where i needed them and used it like that, came in handy, but had to make sure i dont put the wrong...

i put all mine on ebay (fees upto 10%, and recently put the max figure up from £40 to £75 i believe), or gumtree (free),

some items that are not worth too much could be donated or put on...
