as a fellow celt, I'd probably say Australia but you both need to check it out first. Yes, it's absolutely true, expensive, boring, miles from anywhere. I'd stick to Sydney, Melbourne. Sunshine Coast...

Australia 20 years ago was v. much a larrakin, friendly, knockabout type of a place with lots of beers drinking, travellers and people by & large having a good time. Not aware of any Govt....

I agree, Getting a licence in SC is nigh on impossible. Best bet is to rely on their imcompetance of which there's no shortage. FL is easier

Certainly not summer for 11 months winter for 1. This is Winter now and lasts Nov-March, temps have been bad this year, a few days in the 30s. 15-20F below what Florida gets right now unfortunately....

I'm in a similar situation, living in SC but moving down to FL in a month. Looking to buy as FL real estate in the cheapest & rockon 250 should get you a palace. I want a loan also...

yeah, I like their ad's too with the ginger. Great customer service, v. easy to deal with. btw, Travelers are horrible.

Driving forever but not over here etc. Pay $194\mth which is a lot compared...

SAV is pretty close, 40 mins.

yes I got that impression. I 'think' I could go to the local CIS office and ask for an extension but the easier option is to leave and come back with a 6\12 month stamp depending on the grounds\POE...
