Zoom like many airlines circa 2008, went pop due to the combination of the world recession and rising fuel prices. The combination of the two was only going to have one outcome.

The wonderful thing about Zoom was their well planned arrival and departure schedules into and out of Gatwick on their YYC service.

Anyone who had the pleasure (?) circa 1980's, of flying with this long gone Canadian airline, would not have any qualms about flying across the Atlantic with Westjet in a 737.

Kimberley to Fernie is quite the commute each day! At least an hour in decent driving conditions. Winter? Who knows? Most Cranbrook locals who work out that way at the Sparwood mines stay out there...
