My current Dilemma: Not Authorized to work in Health Service Field Occupations.

So, I'm currently working in Canada on Implied status (open work visa), but I'm not authorized to work in healthcare field occupations, and I've been offered some construction/surveying work...

I rang CIC yesterday to confirm Implied status details.

They said implied status would be assumed if the PR application and TWP change of conditions forms where sent in the same envelope.

BC is stunning if you want to enjoy the outdoors and relax.

If you want British style pubs and a music scene youre best off in Toronto/Ottawa.

Im in a similar situation to you, but we have rental agreements that cover 12 months. The other year we lived with each others parents (Liverpool/and Vernon BC)
You could apply as conjugal partners...

Last week we sent away the applications for this and an application to change the conditions of my temporary (bunac) work visa (which ends of the 30th of May)

Do you know what happens if your partner leaves the country during implied status?
I'm soon to be in the same situation. Im also unsure what would happen if i changed jobs during implied status

Ive been in canada for 4 months (bunac non student visa) now with my canadian partner... we met and lived together in england an now were common law.

My partner has just started her 2 years...

in the Bunac application theres small print that suggests you cant get a bunac visa if you have a canadian partner. Could this cause problems for you?

Ive had a look for jobs, theres a 'few' but i have to be eligible to work in Canada to apply. I guess theres no harm contacting some architects, to see how the work market is.
