In Canada Common Law Applications & Implied Status
Last week we sent away the applications for this and an application to change the conditions of my temporary (bunac) work visa (which ends of the 30th of May)
Id like to know if you get any kind of letter confirming that they have received the applications?
I was informed by the CIC call center that I would be on implied status until they reach a decision. Ive read all the information about it being legal for me to carry on working etc.
I dont know what I can provide as actual proof of my application, besides receipt of payment?
Proof of application (letter from the CIC) is also required to be enrolled onto ontarios provincial healthcare plan.

I applied under the same class as you did. I did not receive a letter from CIC saying they had my application. the ECAS system did, after a few months, show information on when the app was received.
I assume you send the application via a method that allowed tracking and / or a signature upon delivery? If so then this combined with a receipt for the Application Fee could well be enough proof, but if it states you need something official from the CIC, then you should give them another call and ask what, if anything they can supply you with.
