Manish, Keeping on hold is new - we have not heard about it before except in cases wherein the CO may be still investigating your case. But again this is unlikely after you have been called by the CO...

are you feeling not being treated fairly. We have applied
May 2008 and are in MODL/CSL and still waiting for the visas. You are not alone my friend. There are many more in the same situation.

I have a similar issue - one of my 'previous' employers has closed down. My appln contained all possible documentation like contract, payslips, bank statements, awards etc from this employer....

our appln is 14 months old. 3 months after CO asked for medical and Pcc and those were sent. Modl + Csl. Hope that puts our concerns in somewhat proper perspective.

Yes we have authorized the MA to contact DIAC. But our impression was that this was only for PLE/email inquiries.
