They may look closely at you, but it shouldn't be a problem if a)the surgery is more than five years old or b)if you have completed all necessary surgery and it will not need ongoing treatment.

Not that I am aware of. I should imagine that only a small percentage of applications received actually get into Canada, and now they have introduced the FSW cap only 1000 people from each NOC code...

I just asked my doctors surgery for a summery of my blood tests, immunisations etc. I waited ten minutes and they provided me with 5 pages of notes with all the relevant info. Surprisingly painless...
