Thanks Lady Locket, She is on the 15th week now. I guess i will contact CIC and inform them that they will have to wait for her X-ray, the blood test and the rest are already completed. And besides they have an X-ray for her that was only done late july 2009, so that can always use that if they want to be fair. She already completed a full medical before we got here last year.

My worry now is that if i remember correctly you only have two months to hand over all medical results to CIC.
I've never heard of that specific period being used before.

In early pregnancy the fetus is low in the pelvis and unlikely to get any radiation from a chest x-ray. Later when the baby is larger it is nearer the lung fields and so more likely to receive scattered radiation from the examination.

When you say 'physician' do you mean the doctor who did the medical or a radiologist? A radiologist would be the is the medical specialist in matters to do with radiation and as I have said before there are rules governing whether or not a chest x-ray can be carried out on a pregnant woman. These are called Local Rules and are set up by the medical physicist who oversees the x-ray department. These often vary slightly from department to department. It may be that the local rules are more stringent at the place you visited.

Still, you are only waiting 5 weeks which is not too long. I doubt they will use an old x-ray, especially one more than a year old as many changes can happen in that period.

Thanks for your response, When i said 'physician' i meant radiologist. I guess I have to send email to CIC explaining to them that one X-ray will be late.

Thanks
