Got my letter today for the ceremony. It, however makes no mention of inviting friends. Dies anyone if there are restrictions on how many friends can attend?

I was advised waiting times of 6-8 months, but my application was approved within 52 days of lodgment. This is all before skill select and eoi though.

I got my approval letter from DIAC in mid August. Haven't heard from council though. Apparently Mackay does 6 ceremonies a year. That's the only piece of info I have.

I'm still hanging on to them though. I even took them to the test, but the lady only wanted to see the originals.

The lady at my local courthouse is tired of seeing me again and again :)

That's what I did. Scanned originals, had copies certified, but was asked to bring originals to be verified.

Rang up DIAC today. Operator said someone should have contacted me by now and forwarded my message to case officer.

Went through spam folder, nothing there. Just have to wait I guess.
