Got my letter today for the ceremony. It, however makes no mention of inviting friends. Dies anyone if there are restrictions on how many friends can attend?

Depends on the council and the size of the venue - you would need to contact them.

Until they have sorted out the election and the Mayor they can't give a timeline because "Ceremonies for the remainder of 2012 will be dependent upon the Local Government Elections and subsequent election of an incoming Mayor"

I have a strange feeling of deja vu.....

People will know what their waiting period was, once they know when their ceremony is - but that won't tell you or anyone else how long the waiting period will be for you or them.

If it's so urgent, then get a departmental ceremony. They do them once a month in parramatta of you have a valid reason. If you don't, then I guess it's ok if you wait.

Application lodged, the wait begins again....

Apologies for asking a silly question twice. But, if I visited a medical centre 3 years ago, once and havent been to a doctor since, will they qualify as an acceptible professional to declare my identity?

Ok, a bit of a concern. I was going back into the application page to attach some documents. It had timed out. Now when I try and go back into it, it says 'the department has no record of this application'. Payment has been taken though. The TFN number is definitely correct as is my password (and date of birth)

Panic over, I called them and they gave me the correct TFN number. Weird because I just copied and pasted the one from the website.

As long as the doctor signs the Form its ok.
The tfn changes slightly on the last digit or two as soon as you pay. You probably tried logging in with the tfn that you got at the beginning of the application and not with the one you got on the confirmation Page.

Sat the test today, very easy. Lots of waiting around though. And I wait some more....

And you swam I suppose,from Australian territory around mainland Australia??
