We did the move 10 years ago - how time flies. Although we are further up the coast and not in San Diego. I love it here. Very laid back, outdoors lifestyle, don't have to worry about the weather.

I sent a couple of parcels to the UK recently and the nice lady in the post office told me that they can not advise how long anything will take as they do no have any idea on flights.

The reason for asking was because I wondered if he can be detained by CBP until he appears before a judge. Plus I'm not convinced that officers always act strictly legally.

And I have it on good authority, that despite being an undesirable base, there are worse bases than 29 Palms.

I can think of two circumstances where you are born in a country but not have citizenship.

I wonder if in this case the officer didn't know that and expected place of birth and passport to match...
