Yes, and it is much riskier for someone with children, and who also may be older.
Its is one thing for a younger couple with no kids to take a chance and move with no job. If it doesn't work out...

is there any issue applying for esta if you have a h1-b aapplication being proicessed? The purpose of the trip is a business meeting and is a necessary trip.
