I went to Knoxville yesterday and saw a voting poster for this guy.

Those who read Viz in the late 80's / early 90's will see why I nearly ran the car off the road laughing. Could it be that the cartoon creator was in Knox 20 plus years ago and thought, "What a great name to rhyme with double-entendres!" ?

It's entirely possible. There was a story going round that Viz character Morris Day, Sexual Pervert, got his name after one of the staff had a disagreement with Camden estate agents Day Morris...

I have a copy of the founding editor Chris Donald's "The Inside Story of Viz". Haven't read it in quite a while so I will see if there is any mention of character origins.

I loved the fat slags, San and Tray.
Bought the Viz annual for hubbie last year (haven't read it in years)
and then realized I should hide it from my two preteen sons....

I loved the comic simplicity of Rude Kid. I still use "Big dog's cock!" as an outburst to this day.
