From what i have read thus far it seems that once you have got your pr visa you are effectivly trapped...

thanks to everybody for the feedback to my previous posts.

i think i,m very close to the 75 points as things stand. with a good lawyer and a nice bit of window dressing i will definitly be there....

As i understand things it is possible to currently obtain 5 points for a link to family member who is a canadian resident.

French Language Skills

In order to go past the 75 points pass mark level i need to obtain 8 points for French language skills.
I believe this is feasible if one is able to display a "moderate" competance in the language....
