Sorry, one last question:

So if I wish to holiday abroad (for 2-3 weeks) after my visa expires, will it be straight-forward to get 3 month RRV (even if I don't yet have a job or own property)?

Thanks very much for the fast reply!

I read somewhere that if I'm in Australia and my visa expires I will be in the country "unlawfully" and may be kicked out. Is that not the case??

Hi,

Is it possible to obtain citizenship after living in Oz for 2 years even if there is no intention to stay in Oz for the forseeable future after that? I may want to return to Oz in a few years...

It's more down to economic factors such as interest rates, growth, inflation & commodities etc.
